Evan Rudowski
Atlantic Leap was founded in 2002 by Evan Rudowski, former managing director of Excite UK and Excite Europe. Based in London since 1998, Evan has enjoyed a long career in the interactive media and technology sectors, including key positions with Excite at its Silicon Valley headquarters and with News Corporation and Times Mirror in New York. He is a co-founder and director of SubHub.
Evan has been a speaker at numerous industry events including Internet World, the Edinburgh Television Festival and Dow Jones investor conferences. He has been profiled in various publications including The Wall Street Journal Europe and Internet Magazine. He has regularly been a judge for the Editor & Publisher EPpy Awards and a mentor at the London Business School Summer Entrepreneurship Programme. He is a long-time member of the London chapter of EO, the Entrepreneurs Organization.
Evan has a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts from Hofstra University and a Masters from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University.
Miles Galliford
Before joining Atlantic Leap, Miles was a director of two Internet start-ups which continue to prosper today, one selling services to the auction and insurance sectors (www.invaluable.com) and the other a spinoff from Cambridge University that provides intelligent search solutions (www.transversal.com). Miles is also a co-founder and director of SubHub.
Miles came to the entrepreneurial start-up world from BT, where for three years he worked on the Internet mergers, acquisition and joint ventures team with responsibility for identifying and completing deals with US new media companies such as Excite, Inktomi, News International, Commerce One and Netcentives. Prior to joining the Internet team, he was account director of several major BT accounts, negotiating contracts valued in excess of $70 million for the provision of global voice and data networks.
Prior to BT, Miles was with the US company Dow Jones Telerate, which delivered real-time financial information to banks, corporate treasuries and trading companies.
Miles has a degree in business studies and an MBA from the European School of Management in Paris.
